Monkeys

Monkeys live in the zoo.  Did you know that when monkeys yawn its sometimes because they are tired, and sometimes because they are mad?  A group of monkeys are called a troop of monkeys.  Monkeys like to play.  I think monkeys are cool. Do you think monkeys are cool?  They are like gorillas.  Well thanks for reading my blog.Bye.

Panda Bears

These are about 3 year old pandas they are playing

There are lots of things to learn about pandas.  Pandas eat about 14 pounds of bamboo every day!  They live in china.  There can be over 800 pandas born each year in the u.s.  Did you know less than 1,000 pandas live in the wild.   It's true!  All pandas are black and white.  Pandas in the wild will occasionally eat other grasses, wild tubers, or even meat in the form of birds, rodents or carrion.  In the zoo they may receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrubs, leaves, oranges, or bananas along with special prepared feed.  So I hope you enjoyed my blog bye.

Dogs

Yellow labs are very protective and fun to play with.

Dogs make good pets. In order to have a pet dog you have to know what kind girl or boy. You will have to know how much it will cost. You will have to feed it every day.  You have to walk it at least one time every day.  So having a dog can be fun, but it can be lots of work.  I think dogs are cool, fun, and smart.  I love dogs.  I have a dog, her name is Abby.  She is nice and fun to play with.  Got to go.
Talk to you later.  Bye.

Fireflies

A fireflies body has 5 main body parts: head, legs, thorax, abdomen, and the wings. Do you know why?  Those 5 main parts help it see, walk, and fly. But the lantern helps the fireflies see at night.
It has nothing to do with seeing, walking, and flying but it does help it see at night.
How They Grow                                                                     Fireflies go through a stage like larva, pupa, and adult. Female fireflies have around 500 eggs every day. So over 1,000 eggs every two days. I think that fireflies are really cool because they can do a lot of things. Can you think about having 1,000 babies?Well I really got to go. Bye.

Vertebrates

Hello hello hello hi hi hi I'm Nicole.  I'm going to talk about vertebrates.  This is what we are going to do to get started.  Have you been to a zoo like the Omaha zoo?  Have you ever seen their fish? Fish are vertebrates.  Some animals don't have back bones and some animals do.  The beta fish is a vertebrate. They are really pretty. Well its time for me to go bye. See you next time.
